I’ve never been one who focuses much on weddings or the prospect of marriage at all, then i feel people blow the event out of proportion and lose sight of what’s substantial, and the legal arrangement that they’re agreeing to for the rest of their lives.
It seems like people are more wrapped up in the pretty dress and the big, extravagant party, than they prefer the legal ramifications that come with the whole event, and that’s why it’s taxing for me to be too gleeful when my friends are getting married, but I still wish them all the best while in their exciting life event.
That’s why I felt so terrible for my best acquaintance when her engagement party was ruined by an unreliable Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. It was the middle of Summer and we met at a appealing country club for drinks and breakfast. Everything looked appealing, but within a few moments it was apparent that there was not enough air conditioning being pumped into the events space! My fantastic friend and I asked the director to readjust the control unit, but the look on her face said it all; there was a problem with their cooling system; She told us that the A/C had failed earlier that day and their Heating, Ventilation, and A/C supplier had been on the scene to repair the central cooling unit. It seemed to have been fixed, but only a few hours later it became obvious that the air conditioning was still not working officially. My fantastic friend and I spent the whole event dripping with sweat through our dresses and fanning ourselves to no avail, all thanks to an incompetent Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman.
